Youth Programs - Youth Sports - Calendar

 

 

DANCE CLASSES
Instructional classes in Pre-dance, Tap, Ballet and Jazz are being offered now through December 2.  Ages 3 to 4 and 5 to 6 meet Mondays and Tuesdays, and ages 7 and up meet on Tuesdays.  Monthly fee is $30 for ages 3 to 4, $40 for ages 5 to 6 and $50 for ages 7 and up.

CHEERLEADING
Ages 4 to 12.  Cost is $35.  Squads cheer for Moody soccer teams during the fall season.

 

TAE KWON DO

Tae Kwon Do classes are held at the Youth Center on Tuesday and Thursday nights for ages 4 to adult.  Monthly fee is $60.

 

GYMNASTICS

Join our new instructor, Ms. Whitney, as she pumps up the atmosphere with lots of enthusiasm.  Monthly fee is $30 for ages 3 to 4, $40 for ages 5 to 8 and $50 for ages 9 to 12.  All age groups meet on Mondays.

 

Soccer
Soccer leagues are played in summer, fall and winter for ages 5 and up.  Younger teams play on base.  Older teams play with Valdosta Parks and Recreation league.  Cost is $40 for ages 5 to 6 and $55 for ages 7 and above.

Baseball
Baseball, softball and t-ball leagues are played in the spring.  Cost is $40 for ages 5 to 6 and $55 for ages 7 and above.  Younger teams play on base.  Older teams play with Valdosta Parks and Recreation league.

Start Smart Baseball, Soccer and Basketball
Start Smart is a developmentally appropriate introductory baseball program for children ages 3 and 4.  The program includes parents in preparing children for organized baseball in a fun, non-threatening environment.  Soccer is taught in the fall, basketball is taught in the winter and baseball is taught in the spring.  Cost is $35.

An annual sports physical must be completed prior to participating in sports programs.
Moody AFB Youth Sports is proud to be a member of the National Alliance of Youth Sports (NAYS).  All of our coaches are trained and certified members of the National Youth Sports Coaches Association (NYSCA).  If you would like to volunteer to coach, please contact Youth Programs for the next NYSCA training date.
