The Arts & Crafts Center is
a great place to grow. With craft classes, woodworking classes, welding
classes and an Auto Shop, the
Arts & Crafts
Center caters to all types of hobbies. Is there a particular project that
you and your buddy are interested in completing? Want to learn a new craft
skill you’ve been meaning to learn? If you answered yes to these questions,
let our staff know and we will try to locate an instructor and set up a
class catering to your particular interest. Call the
Arts & Crafts
Center and let us help keep you crafty.
The
Vehicle Resale Lot is located adjacent to the new 23rd
Services Squadron headquarters, right next to the Outdoor Pool. Those
interested in selling vehicles must register the vehicle with the Auto Shop
and pay the requisite fees. The Auto Shop is located in the Arts & Crafts
Center. Give them a call for more information or if you need help getting
rid of your used car.

After successful completion of the class, students are issued safety cards allowing them to do self-help projects. Registration deadline is the Wednesday prior. Cost is $10.
Personal equipment certification is required and offered by trained personnel. The wood shop has a large variety of hardwoods for sale, and a project library with over 500 plans available for customer use.
Auto Shop, 257-3056
Arts & Crafts' Auto Shop offers full service on vehicles. The shop also provides free advice and assistance to all customers who want to do their own work. The auto shop averages one-third of the price of mechanic fees charged by local businesses.
Welding Classes are offered the third Saturday of every month. Safety and hands-on application is covered. Course is limited to four students and registration is required by the Wednesday prior. Cost is $30.
Before you buy a vehicle, bring it to the Auto Shop and receive a vehicle inspection for $20. If the sponsor is deployed or TDY, bring a copy of the orders and this service is free.
