Eligibility
Our equipment and facility are available to active duty members and their dependents 18 years and older with a valid ID card, retirees, reservists, long term contractors and DoD employees. A local address is required when renting equipment.
Reservations
Must be made in person with a paid deposit equal to the daily rate of the rental item. Reservations can be made up to six months in advance. Truck rental reservations must be made no later than three days prior to ensure availability. Walk-ins are always welcome, but will be accommodated on a first-come, first-serve basis. Refunds will be given on a reservation if notified at least 48 hours prior to the rental date.
Weigh Stations
Planning a DITY?
Equipment Rental's employees are certified public weighers. Weigh stations
are located near the Budget rental area at Equipment Rental. Don't pay high
mileage rates driving downtown, get it done on base for $5 for two weighs,
empty and full weight.
Car Rental
For your convenience, we offer Enterprise Car Rental on base for leisure, travel or TDY. Call 257-2989 for specials and rates. Requirements to rent a car are:
- Must be active duty, a dependent, a retiree or a DoD civilian and must have a valid military ID and driver’s license.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Must have a major credit card (Visa or MasterCard) and E-4 and above can pay with cash.
Must have proof of current stateside auto insurance.
Budget Truck Rental

RV Storage Lots
Secure, on-base locations to store your recreation vehicles are available.
Costs are:
- Small 20-ft lot: $5 a month / $50 yearly
- Medium 30-ft lot: $10 a month / $100 yearly
- Large 40-ft lot: $15 a month / $150 yearly

Lawn and Garden
Want to improve your lawn and garden, but don’t have the tools?
Equipment Rental has everything you will need. Some of the items for
rent include lawnmowers, rakes, shovels, hoses and hedge clippers.
Camping Equipment
If you are interested in camping, but don’t have the gear, Equipment Rental has everything you need from campers and tents to cots and chairs. We also have everything needed for a camping cook out. There are also weekend camping packages available that include everything you would need for a successful camping trip.
Fishing and Boating
Equipment Rental has a long list of fishing and boating items available for rent, including bass boats, water skis, boogie boards, canoes and fishing rods and reels.
Sports Equipment
Having a gathering and not sure how to keep your guests entertained? Try some of the sporting equipment available for rent. Equipment Rental has horseshoe sets, croquet sets, softball kits and volleyball sets for your party.
If there are items we do not carry, if something is missing or if our service is not up to your expectations please let us know, and we’ll fix it. Before you leave with rental items, please take time to carefully inspect your equipment and notify the staff of any damage or missing parts. This inspection may be done as a part of the pre-use safety and unit operation briefing.
Rental Terms and Fees
Hourly - This rate begins at check out and ends when the item is returned. A 15-minute grace period is allowed for travel.
Weekend - Pick up your equipment on Friday and return it by noon on Monday. There is no charge for Sunday. Items rented on Saturday have to be returned by noon on Monday for a one-day rental charge. EXCEPTION - Gas powered equipment has to be returned by 9 a.m. on Monday for a one-day rental charge.
Weekly - The fee is five times the daily rate and covers a full seven-day period with
holidays and days of closure included.
Cleaning Fee - A cleaning deposit is required when renting any tent, camper or bounce house. This deposit will be refunded if equipment is clean and in same working condition when rented. The amount of the deposit for tents and campers is a one-day rental fee. The amount required for the bounce house is $25. A fee of $15 will be assessed if super cookers are returned unclean.
Late Fee - Equipment overdue by one hour or more may be assessed a late fee.
